Monthly Wishes : May

May has been a great month. I'm feeling more settled on my course (finally), and it was my mums birthday so was nice to spoil her a little too. We also have a new addition to the family in the form of a 6 month old kitten called Rufus. He is super cute and cheeky and I'm so happy we have him.

Our wishes this month are quite practical .... well nail varnish in my life is very practical .... and the yellow/golden colour spectrum was totally by accident [but does look quite organised].

Monthly Wishes : April

Hey hey ya'll.

Can you believe we are at the end of another month ALREADY. Time literally waits for no man which has been the theme on both my Twitter and Instagram this month.

April has been a lovely busy month bringing with it sunshine, brighter days and family quality time.
I have just been so into clothes and accessories this month. My saved items lists are larger than normal; so do keep your eyes peeled as I'm sure an influx of collective wish lists may be coming your way soon.

As we come to another month end we share with you our Wishes for the month of April.

Cai's S/S Wish List : H&M Edit

Hey guys,

I had a different post scheduled for today, then I went onto H&M online and oh my days.
I absolutely love H&M kids clothes. They are generous with sizing and length, as my boy is tall & slender and they wash super well. Also the price - they are so affordable and usually come with such cute designs.
The only thing that usually puts me off shopping at H&M online is their delivery. Once you get used to Asos - next day delivery or normal shops taking 3 - 5 days. H&M just ain't cutting it with their 15+ days sometimes. I am impatient so that just doesn't fit into my life lol.

As we are heading into warmer months I wanted to share with you H&M items that are on Cai's Spring/Summer Wish List. I have tried to whittle down my list to the NEEDS as there are just so many things I could literally be here forever! I have listed all links below too so hope that is of help.

Back to School : Bags III of III

I could not do a back to study clothes and bag post together.
They each need their own time to shine.
So for this post I will be focusing on back to school/study appropriate bags. And we all know I feel about bags :)

Back in the day when I was at school, before the beginning of the new school year I would trawl up and down Oxford Circus in search of a mini Nike backpack.

Who remembers these......Memories!

This bag would hold it all, the anthology, your exercise books, diary, pens, hair gel, brush, sweets and panda pops lol. The good old days. I literally had these backpacks in so many colours and designs. My favourite I found in a Nike shop in France which was teal blue, with a see through grey bottom. Yes please.

Now I am older, know better and need more space for things, I have more age and personal style appropriate options. Any excuse for shopping eh.

Back to School : Uniform II of III

In sticking with the back to school traditions, there are some things which I have carried over from my many years at school. One of which is the use of a uniform. Not a school uniform per say, but I like to try to have in my head, what clothes I will be wearing to attend school. This helps me to not wear out my good clothes (remember those?) and help to limit those - I have nothing to wear moments in the morning.

It does not take much or anything really for me to create wishlists, mental notes and saved items of all the gorgeous clothes I wish to add to my wardrobe.
Especially now the weather is a-changing I mean it's just wishlist central around here.

So here are a few pieces I would like to add to my wardrobe and/or will be wearing for my return to school.

Back to School : Stationery I of III

To kick off my 3 part mini Back to School series, I wanted to start with non other than the school/study essentials : Stationery.
I am quite nerdy when it comes to stationery. I like particular pens, paper, notebooks, notepads the works. I just feel like they help my brain to focus. At school before a new term my mum and I would pop to WHSmith and get all new pens, pencils, maths sets, folders etc for school. We all would sit there in class on the first day back, looking well proud when we pulled out our new pencil cases. However usually for me after about two weeks, I would be that pupil that would always be asking to borrow a pen, rubber, pencil, ruler, highlighter, sharpener everythang lol.

I am going back to study this Autumn/Winter and I'm really looking forward to it. As with any new thing that means new equipment is usually needed. [I.e shopping]. Doesn't it?

So as quite the stationery lover I have created my stationery wish lists below.

Accessories & Me Part III of IIII

Accessories for me are the best part of an outfit.

You can go crazy with colours, lengths, shapes or keep things really simple with a neat detailed piece. As a very simple dresser and a lover of black, I usually count on my accessories and or blazer, cardigan, kimono for an inject of colour.

I have always loved accessories but never really experimented with pieces other than necklaces and the odd hoop earring. I've always been and still am apprehensive, to wear things that may be a bit loud = make me stand out. However I am slowly learning to try to be less self conscious.

Mummy Uniform Part I of IIII

I love fashion.

However of late, this is something I have noticed I am not my usual self with. I'm finding it harder to find pieces I really like (need). It is now taking me so long to feel happy and comfortable with an outfit. I'm sure this is something to do with body insecurities too.....but that we will save for another post.

Picnic Wish List

How gorgeous is the picture above. Now that is what I call a picnic. Lanterns and everything.

Nothing to me screams IT'S SUMMER more than a picnic.

I know many people will say what about bbq's, however my bestie is Greek and her family have bbq's all year round - spring, summer, autumn and winter :).

Now that Cai is older and the days warmer, we spend a lot more time in the park and it is such a great, inexpensive way to spend time together with family & friends.

I also think it's so romantic to have a picnic with your partner or date. Although my picnic bag would probably contain mostly alcohol.

Mal, bubba and I haven't officially had a proper picnic yet and this year that is going to change. Mummy to the rescue.

So I have compiled a list of my picnic must-haves that will help complete my picnic desires.

Baby Summer Wishlist : H&M Edit

Good old confused British weather.

Now I am not a lover of HOT weather especially in the UK. After it goes past 25 degrees ..... I'm not interested and thankfully my hubby is the same.

However there is nothing I love more than thinking up all the outfits I'd love to dress Cairo in.
