For the final post in my Style Editions, here we have the new additions to my baby's wardrobe. 

After my experience in taking the pictures for my Mummy wardrobe additions, I knew my energiser bunny son would not keep still for non fuzzy pictures.
He does however enjoy taking selfies lol.

So here goes, Baby's new summer wardrobe additions. 

This week was such a casual nail week for me. 

I really just wanted something reliable, no fuss and understated on my nails. 

So hello my trusty Mr Grey nail polish. 

I have used Rimmel 60 seconds in Grey Matter and Primark P.S. Love Nail Art Pen in White for this look. 

I really enjoy this nail polish by Rimmel, I find the application great and it has a large brush that provides a lot of coverage. In all honesty I am not convinced by their dry in 60 seconds theory, as in my experience, it is more like 6 minutes. However, one cannot complain as it does dry quicker than some other nail polishes. 

I love grey nails at times, a great twist on a nude nail colour. They can also be jazzed up with some simple nail art, spots, stripes, gems or trusty glitter. 

Easy to wear, goes well with everything and the bonus I won't be too upset if they chip early. 

Tick, tick and tick!

Are there any colours you go to for a more casual nail look?

Hello guys. 

I really do apologise for missing my Sunday post yesterday :( 

I will however, have a *bonus* post on my blog this week. So stay tuned. 

My head was just a ball of tangled clutter. What a strange weekend it has been.

Tears, disappointment, calmness, confusion and love. 

I have been questioning myself on ...... 

Am I good enough or deserving of......aspects of my life. Being a mummy, my partner, my mum to name a few. 

A lot of this, stems from my size and general insecurities I have.

These are things I often think about, but I can usually remove the thought quickly, or answer yes I am (it has taken a GREAT DEAL of continuous practise). This weekend I have not been able to, and even writing this I am still wondering.

I feel so bad to even write that, yet, think these things; as I am so grateful and feel incredibly blessed, to be alive and live the life I have. 

Dealing with depression for me is an every day battle. Some days are amazing, some days are black; but I am so thankful to be on the brighter side of my depression. 

I have really been trying to exercise thinking positively each night and each morning, especially to help set my day up with a positive start. 

Start as you mean to go on they say.

I have some amazing people in my life who I love greatly and who love me too. 

My son has been and will always be my reason for living, my driving force, the constant smile and warmth in my heart. He is a treasure. I love you so much Cairo. Thank you for being as loud, as clingy, as moany, as independent, as smart, as cute, as boisterous and as funny as you are. 

I have so much to be happy and thankful for. Eventually I will get the emotional balance right.

I am on a quest to be the happiest and best version of me that I can be. Physically, emotionally and mentally. 

And ridiculous or not, I am going to try to document this journey on the World Wide Web. Oh boi lol.

Ugghhh. I lurrrrve bags. Little bags, clutch bags, shoulder bags, biggggg bags they are all just yum.
I blame my mom for this :)

Since becoming a mummy, I have relied on my trusty Pink Lining yummy mummy bag EVERY DAY for the past year and a half. This bag gets used every single day even if we do not leave the house. I absolutely love it!
(I will do a separate post on our nappy bag soon).

I love fashion.

Motherhood completely turns your life around - 360 degrees.

One of the many things that has changed for me on entering Motherhood, is my style. Comfortability, child friendly and body changes have all played a factor.
I feel I used to be more adventurous with my fashions, whereas now, rely heavily on my mummy comfy clothes.
You know the clothes I mean, that t-shirt, those jeans or leggings, the cardigan or when wanting to 'make effort' the good ol' leather jacket ;)

I think as my son is getting older, he is very independent and I now; from experience know how to pick an outfit (the night before) and how much make up I will be able to get done, between Henry Hugglemonster & CBeebies morning programmes.
Time management - Mummy skills 101!

Currently, I feel like I am trying to get my footing again with my style. I think my brain now has more space to consider additional things and I am going to put a little focus on my style and clothes.
So with that in mind, I am currently trying to find my happy medium in regards to my clothes. Somewhere between comfy and glamour.

I am trying a different approach this time too. With the beginning stages:
- Building my wish lists
- Purchasing essential and staple pieces
.... and going from there

What are some of the things that help to change your style? 

  

How gorgeous is the picture above. Now that is what I call a picnic. Lanterns and everything.

Nothing to me screams IT'S SUMMER more than a picnic.

I know many people will say what about bbq's, however my bestie is Greek and her family have bbq's all year round - spring, summer, autumn and winter :).

Now that Cai is older and the days warmer, we spend a lot more time in the park and it is such a great, inexpensive way to spend time together with family & friends. 

I also think it's so romantic to have a picnic with your partner or date. Although my picnic bag would probably contain mostly alcohol.

Mal, bubba and I haven't officially had a proper picnic yet and this year that is going to change. Mummy to the rescue.

So I have compiled a list of my picnic must-haves that will help complete my picnic desires.
